What’s new in ClinicOS
Clinics see these notes on the About page and under Settings → Updates, where Update now installs a new version in one click (with a backup first).
Version 0.2.0 · 2026-10-20
- Your own dashboard. Press Click to arrange to drag the shortcut tiles and the panels (Already here, Coming up, Walk-in queue, Pending payments, Needs attention) where you want them, in either column. Add shortcuts from a list or with your own link, rename or remove them, and choose 1 to 6 columns. It is saved for you alone, and only offers pages your role can open.
- The Today strip fits on one line per card, six across.
- A Super Admin helping a clinic stays out of sight: not in Team accounts, staff logins, notifications or by name in the audit log (shown as support).
- Hosted businesses start with every clinic feature and no limits; the subscription is what decides access.
- Super Admins can delete a hosted business (type its name and your password), and see and change each business's plan and modules.
- Change your own email and password under My account; Super Admins can change a business owner's sign-in.
- Fixes: the page no longer has a blank band at the bottom, locked menu items are readable on the dark menu, and the API's appointment list defaults to a week from the date you ask for.
Version 0.1.0 · 2026-10-18
- ClinicOS begins. Built on the SalonOS foundation (appointments, customers, billing with GST, messages, staff, backups, updates), licensed by license.myhumannetwork.com with CLINIC- keys.
- Clinic types and plans. Each clinic has a type (physiotherapy first; dental, skin and hair, general practice ready) and its own license: a free trial, Starter, Pro or Enterprise. Your plan shows what is included and how long it runs.
- Never locked out of your data. When a license ends there is a grace week with everything working, then ClinicOS becomes read-only: you can still look things up and export, and renewing brings everything back at once.
- Reminders before a license ends, 7 and 2 days before, in the app and by WhatsApp.
- Beds and machines. Choose a bed, machine or room when booking, and ClinicOS stops two patients being booked on it at the same time, just as it does for each therapist.
- Book a series in one go: Mon, Wed and Fri at 6 pm for four weeks, with one confirmation for the patient. If any day clashes, nothing is booked and you see which days.
- Home visits with the patient's address, for clinics whose plan includes them.
- Clinic reminders: the evening before and two hours before each appointment, and a follow-up when an appointment is missed. New clinics working in Hindi or Gujarati start with those messages in their language.
- Patients: who referred them and their ABHA number. ClinicOS now speaks of patients, therapists and sessions, following the kind of clinic.
- Physio assessment: complaint, pain, range of motion in degrees, muscle strength, special tests, red flags with a clear warning, diagnosis and goals.
- Treatment plans and packages: plan the number of sessions and the modalities, then sell them as one package with a GST invoice, taking an advance now and the balance later, or bill each session at checkout.
- Session notes in under a minute: press Start session on the appointment; the form repeats the last session's treatment. Saving marks the appointment done and uses one session from the package, and the desk is told when two are left.
- Home exercises: a library of 30 exercises and six condition templates (knee replacement, frozen shoulder, low back pain, cervical spondylosis, ACL, ankle sprain), plus your own. Build a patient's program in a minute and send it on WhatsApp as a private link they can open on their phone, or print the PDF.
- Progress you can show: pain and range of motion over the sessions, a progress report PDF for the patient or their doctor, and a discharge summary when the plan is completed.
- Dropped off: the patients on a plan who haven't been in for a week and have nothing booked, so the desk can call them.
- Owner reports: daily collection, sessions per therapist, plans and packages (completion and dropout rates), and referral sources.
- Keeping in touch: a message when two sessions are left in a package, and check-ins two and four weeks after a patient finishes.
- Import your existing patients from a CSV or Excel file: see exactly what will be added and what is skipped (and why) before anything is saved. Phone numbers already in the clinic are never doubled.
- Quick Patients and Invoices spreadsheets under Export data, ready for Excel, alongside the full export.
- See what else ClinicOS can do: features outside your plan stay in the menu for the owner, marked Upgrade, and lead to Your plan.
- System health: whether the daily job is running, recent errors grouped by problem, messages that failed, and the latest backup. Old logs are cleared after 30 days.
- Dropped-off follow-up: mark a patient as contacted with a note; they move down the list for three days.
- Edit a home program after saving. The patient's link stays the same and shows the new exercises.
- Hindi and Gujarati for the home exercise, package-ending and after-discharge messages.
- Payment after every visit. When a visit is marked completed you land on its Payment box: paid, part paid, from a package or not billed yet, with one tap to mark it paid in cash, UPI, card or bank transfer. Anyone on the team can do it, it is recorded against their name, and the patient gets a receipt.
- Pending payments on the dashboard and its own page: finished visits and invoices still to be collected, each with a Mark paid button. The dashboard also shows sessions recorded, patients who dropped off, packages nearly used, and more shortcuts.
- After-visit message by WhatsApp or email when a visit is completed: payment status, next visit, treatment progress, what to do until then (set under Physio settings) and the home exercises link. Also in Hindi and Gujarati.
- Scan to pay. Unpaid bills and receipts show a UPI QR for the amount still due, with the clinic's name in the payment note.
- Shorter receipt links in messages (
/r/…); older links keep working. - Manual payments only (Settings → Payments): no online payment system. Booking never asks for money and payment links are hidden; the team records payments by hand with Mark paid. Provider set-up is kept if you turn it off again.
- Custom fields (Settings → Custom fields): add your own questions to the patient form (short or long text, number, date, choice from a list, yes/no), optionally required. They show on the patient's page, in the Patients CSV and in the import.
- Clinic type can be chosen under Settings → General.
- Your own sign-in pages. Admins design the staff sign-in page under Branding → Sign-in page (layout, wording, colours or a photo). Each clinic designs its patients' My account sign-in page under Settings → Online booking.
- Works when the internet is down. Screens you've already opened still open, and anything you save offline (a payment, a patient, a note) is kept on the device and sent automatically when the connection is back, with a bar showing what is waiting. Signing out clears the saved screens.
- Hosting in a folder such as app.myhumannetwork.com/clinic is supported and documented.
