Features depend on your plan and configuration. Platform, messaging and payment provider charges are separate. Direct platform connections need each platform’s approval or an integration partner.

Yours from day one.
On your own hosting.

No new platform to learn or server to run. Upload RestaurantOS to ordinary web hosting and you’re billing. Hosting is separate, and yours to choose; we can install it for you.

  1. 1Choose a license

One price for the plan, not per outlet or device. Your key arrives by email.

  2. 2Download it

A private link in your email and your account.

  3. 3Upload to your hosting

PHP and MySQL hosting is enough: no Node, no Docker, no special terminals.

  4. 4Open the setup page

Pick your country and tax, and create the owner account.

  5. 5Enter your key

Bring in your menu and tables, and print your first KOT.

Backups you control

Back up on a schedule, download the backups, and restore with a click.

Your data walks out the door

It’s your database. Export menus, guests, orders and stock to spreadsheets any time.

Updates without the stress

One-click updates with a full backup first, between services, not during them.

Every platform order

What could moving some delivery orders to your own ordering site keep in your restaurant? Try it with your own numbers.

Your own site takes no commission. This tool assumes a share of guests switch—you decide what’s realistic.

Adjust the assumptions

The old wayWith RestaurantOS

Left: an illustration of paper order slips. Right: a RestaurantOS screen drawn with sample data.

Better services start
with clearer workflows.

Three ways to put RestaurantOS to work. Illustrative scenarios, rather than customer testimonials.

The busy café counter

Orders and payment at the same moment.

Before
A queue at the till, handwritten tokens and drinks made from memory.
What changes
Pay-first counter billing with quick dish codes, tickets to the bar screen, and UPI on the same bill.
The practical payoff
A shorter queue, and a day close that matches the drawer.

The family restaurant that delivers

Dine-in, Swiggy, Zomato and its own riders.

Before
Platform tablets on the counter, commission worked out at month end, rider cash on trust.
What changes
Every order in one line, commission and payouts reconciled, and an ordering site of its own.
The practical payoff
A clear view of what each platform really costs, and regulars ordering direct.

The growing chain

Three outlets and a central kitchen.

Before
Each outlet on its own system; indents by phone; franchise fees in a spreadsheet.
What changes
One menu with outlet prices, indents and production from the central kitchen, outlets compared side by side.
The practical payoff
A better starting point for decisions about menus, stock and the next outlet.

Switching from Petpooja?
Bring your menu in an afternoon.

Upload your old POS’s export as it is, CSV or Excel. RestaurantOS recognises the columns, you check them, and it brings the data in.

More about moving over

Export from your old POS

Your menu with portions such as Half and Full, your guest list and your closing stock.

Check the columns

Item name, category, price, GST, veg or non-veg, phone numbers: matched for you, with a preview.

Import and start billing

The whole file is checked first, so nothing half-imports. Guests are matched by phone; kg becomes grams.

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Choosing your restaurant’s system is a real decision. Let’s make it an informed one.

Ask us about my restaurant
What do I need to run RestaurantOS?

Ordinary shared hosting with PHP and a MySQL database (or SQLite for one small outlet). Your team uses any browser on a computer, tablet or phone. KOTs and bills print through the browser to an 80 mm printer.

Can you install it for us?

Yes. We can set it up on your hosting with your outlets, menu and printers. Ask us when you request a demo, so we can confirm the work involved.

Does it work outside India?

Yes. Each business picks its country, currency and tax at setup. India’s GST (CGST and SGST, HSN codes, GSTR reports) is built in, and VAT or sales tax works for other countries.

Do Swiggy and Zomato orders come in by themselves?

Platform orders are keyed in from the platform’s tablet in seconds, or arrive by themselves through an integration partner. Direct connections need each platform’s approval. Commission and payouts are tracked either way.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The order screen keeps taking orders and sends them, in order, once the connection is back, so nothing is lost mid-service.

What happens when my license expires?

A valid paid license is required. Expiry blocks use until you renew; it does not delete your data, which stays in your database. Renew your license or contact us to restore access.

Your next full house is coming.
Be ready for it.

Give your team a calmer service—and yourself more room to grow.
